Weekend in Brisbane// Clothing (and other) Haul

This last weekend gone, I spent my time in Brisbane surrounded by my family for my cousins wedding. Being so close to Australia, you would think it would be a common destination to visit, but really I've only been there a three times and this being my second trip to Brisbane. In the two days being there however, I did manage to get a lot of shopping done and really put a dent in my wallet. To justify this, I don't think I've had a big shopping trip in a while so really it has been a long time coming!

Lorna Jane & other magazines
I went into Lorna Jane like a little kid at a candy shop. I'm actually so surprised that I came out with only the book. I also picked up some magazines which along with the book became my saviours whilst at the airport waiting due to a four hour delay.

I knew as soon as I saw topshop that I had to go in. I came out with a plain white singlet which has the most amazing fabric, along with a pair of nice undies (every girl needs some), some socks and a coral nail polish to go with a dress that I purchased.

I had my makeup done at MAC, which I absolutely loved, and these were the products that I chose to get with the money used for the makeup application. I bought the finishing spray, two lipsticks (Russian Red and Bare Again) along with a lip liner to go with the Bare Again lipstick and finally a concealer that works wonders for under eye coverage.

Yet another shop that I have heard so much about and never actually gone into. I spent a long time looking around and it was hard to restrain myself from going over board with spending in all honesty. I finally decided on a flower crown, a phone case and another stripy top to add to the collection.

General Pants & Dissh
My mum actually found the skirt from general pants and made me try it on which of course was a bad because I instantly fell in love with it and couldn't bring myself to leave it on the rack. As for the dress from Dissh, it was actually on the last chance rack, my size and obviously a sign that it was meant to be.

Ah Target, this was the first shop that we went to as it was 8am on a Saturday and my family and I had been up since 5am. I saw this top and instantly envisaged myself wearing this with my black skinnies and boots. As for the hair product, I needed something to tame the locks before the wedding and this seemed to do the trick.

Duty Free
I love Duty Free. So much. It's really my one true love. I started off by buying myself the Rouge Noir Chanel nail polish which I have been wanting for months now. I then went on to get myself some benefit products (I got a cleanser because my cleanser was in a container over 100ml so it was taken off me, rookie mistake. Along with a tinted moisturiser.) And finally the perfume that I have been obsessing over for months, Viktor Rolf's Flowerbomb.
